Htc desire s hboot 2.00.002 ,unlocked but?Support

    I have unlocked the bootloader using officail HTCdev..Downloaded CM7.1 stable version ,and pushed it the root of the SD card later booted to recovery mode by Installing CWM via ROM manager and gained ROOT access.

    did all thses....
    in wipe format menu - wipe data/factory reset
    wipe cache
    wipe dalvik cache
    format system
    format data

    tried with diffrent Rom WP7..the phone now seems stuck on the HTC Bootscreen...Agian i restored back...i want cm7.1 on my phone..

    Please help

    Try flashing the boot image (.img) file of the CM ROM. You can extract it from the zip file.

    Then use Android Flasher to try flashing it to your phone.

    If this doesn't work then you'll probably need to load up adb and Fastboot tools to your PC and try that way. The commands are:
    fastboot flash boot boot.img
    fastboot reboot

    You can't install a custom ROM like CM7.1 until you 'S-Off' your phone. You will also have to downgrade your Hboot version to 0.98.2000 first.

    Yeah you're a little confused, do some more reading.

    You can install roms, recovery, kernels with HTCdev.

    If you s-off it isn't required to change your hboot.
