    Hi People.

Just taken delivery of an HTC Desire on Orange (UK) network.

I'm using Smart Monitor Lite and under the Storage section it is reporting that I have 15MB available in the (/system) setting. This sounds low to me, am I being too concerned about nothing really?

Main apps I have installed are 3G Watchdog, Shazham, 360 Live, NeoReader and Smart Monitor Lite. There are a slew of other pre-installed apps as well, which apparently cannot be uninstalled.

I hope that someone comes up with a way to install apps to the SD Card real soon.

    Cheers.

    If you go

menu > settings > SD & Phone storage

What does it say for internal phone storage?

Mine is 18.6MB and I've got a shed load of apps installed.

mine currently says 96.89MB, so plenty of space there. Just curious when you said loads how many roughly?

Well, 'loads' is very subjective I admit :)

I've got 72 apps installed. Seems a lot to me but many would consider that a paltry amount.

well if it says 96.89Mb, then thats still alot. Though its best if you don't go under 30Mb for better performance.

I dunno what that 15Mb warning was about if you actually had that much.

i think there might be a little bit of confusion. I think the 15MB is relating to the available space for OS upgrades. Still sounds a tiny amount to me though.

    Thanks to all that helped.
