Have just started using HTC Desire. It works well through my KA car kit using voice commands, but I have not found a way to get it to auto answer. Cannot imagine that anyone would produce a phone thats intended to be used in the car and then make you tap a button to make it answer - takes away the point of "Hands Free". Does anyone know a way of doing this please?

You'll be much better off asking this in the HTC Desire forum.

I've never used hands free so I can't help, unfortunately.

I think the auto answer feature is generally built into the hands free equipment as opposed to the mobile phone. I have a pioneer car stereo with bluetooth hands free built in and it has an option to auto answer the phone for you. I don't use it though just in case someone calls who i don't want to speak to.
