HTC Desire

Hello
I am thinking of buying a HTC Desire phone on contract, and am totally new to Android phones. Features I am most interested in are the Camera, Music Player, oh, and making phone calls! Any advice/comments most appreciated. My PC runs Windows XP. Can you create playlists?
