Just picked up the black silicon case from Verizon and so far so good. Wish the buttons were exposed instead of covered but this will work for now. Only problem I had was that the case is that it loves to push my screen protector up on the corners unless I slide it in a certain way. :\

i think i found a set up i finally like . vzw high gloss case fits right into the vzw holster that comes with the holster case combo . it fits perfectly . it actually sits in a little tighter and stays in due to the sticky feel of case . innocase II should be here tommorow . ill see how i like that.

Anyone have anything to say about the Hard Case from htcpedia? It's reasonably priced and actually looks pretty decent in the aesthetics department. Would love to hear some thoughts about it, thanks.

I am returning it. The two times my phone has fallen, the case did absorb the initial impact but the front half of the case IMMEDIATELY popped off before my eyes. That does not inspire my confidence.

I will return it, purchase the Seidio Innocase II and a Nexus One sleeve. Perfect combo in my opinion.

Is it me or is the color selection for the innocase II weak? I mean theres 5 colors there at are girly. White would be great, how about orange, or a real red? The gold from the droid would be fine even.

Paimon, what case did you buy?

I got it and now I have tried it, I bought the combo....the top on-off button is not easy to get to with the case on the phone as people may make you believe. Without the case the access is perfect with the case on you may see your self fumbling.
I do not like the phone just hanging out there on the holster..even with the case on it really is easy steal if someone wanted your phone.
So back its going... Im sticking to a leather pouch clip on. Easy in-out, not out there and easy to turn on-off phone.

Very happy with my bodyglove case... Had a bodyglove on my BB curve and it worked very good too...

Dropped my BB SEVERAL times with the phone never recieving damage...

I think with the Dinc it just a luck of the draw on what case you get... My buddy had 2 of them that did not have a positve clip to them and would come apart when dropped...
The one that I recieved has a nice, tight fit and is yet to come apart when dropped...

When I place my Incredible in a leather holster, I sometimes trigger a hard reset. I am not sure if this is because the power button gets pressed at the same time as the volume button ( which is a way to accomplish a reset), or if there is some other reason, such as build up of heat.

I have the Body Glove and cannot wait to replace it with a higher quality OtterBox that will actually protect my Incredible!

I was running with my brother and caught the holster with my arm only to see my phone somehow coming off my belt hitting the pavement and watching my Incredible sliding accross the parking lot screen down and noticing the case flew apart on the initial impact so it was all screen!

Lucky it was a freshly done parking lot so there are next to nothing for marks but I'm pissed that a $30 case cannot do what it is supposed to do!! At least it stayed on till it hit the ground!

1) the case wasn't destroyed or badly damaged (scuff marks, scratches, etc),
2) you still have the receipt
3) It hasn't been more than 30 days

Take the case to Verizon and return it ASAP. Get the black hard silicone case (or red). I did this and LOVE the hard silicone - sleek, good protection, perfect (added) bulk.

If it's been like 40 days or so, and they give you shit about it being past 30 days, tell them your only issue is that the case did NOT do what it was supposed to do: protect your phone. Tell them you dropped it ON A RUG and the front face of the case POPPED OFF.

The only reason you are returning it is because this happened AFTER the 30 day period, and you'd like to do an exchange for another accessory.

If they STILL give you shit about it being over 30 days, tell them you've been a loyal Verizon customer for X years (over 5 years, hopefully!) and you'd really appreciate if they saw it from your perspective.

I did this and got the silicone case. Just don't be combative and they'll be reasonable.

I really wanted to get that skin but caved and got the hard silicone skin from Verizon and love it.

I don't know how thick those skins are and how protective, and how well they protect the camera lens.

Any way you could answer any of those questions?

The case only has one tiny mark on it because it left the Incredible when it hit the ground. The Incredible is the one with the marks. Thanks fully they are only in a couple spots on the plastic and the screen is fine.

Had my Inc since a few days before the release date, and had a few cases too:

1. Body Glove: solid case, but adds a lot of bulk. The front of the case overlapped the screen enough to make typing a bear at the edge of the screen. No problems with security, but the post above about it popping off in a fall is a concern.

2. HTC silicon case from BestBuy. This thing was a total dust magnet. Drove me crazy.

3. Seidio Innocase. Love it.

They actually have one for the incredible check your Verizon stores or call in the product number is VZW6300COVSPK. I just got one from the store they said they received it today.Feels and looks just like the iPhone candy shells if you've seen them. Silicone inside with a glossy hard plastic outside but it still is a little flexible. I get my phone tomorrow so I can't show pictures with the phone but here you go:

I dig the look of the case, but I'm not so sure on the backside. It looks like it scratches up fairly easily. Would be a winner if it was made out of something other than that cheap chrome plastic.
