Played with a live Sprint EVO today. Large, heavy and more like a mini tablet. Beautiful screen. I think I prefer the smaller Incredible with Verizon vs. the larger Evo with Sprint.

But in all honesty, I'm still wondering when we're going to get anything related to 4G up here.

4G does indeed sound nice, but I don't think the coverage area to cost ratio is going to be good enough to have it EVERYWHERE any time soon. Maybe in 5+ years or even more is my guess.

I just like the phone itself, screw the 4G radio and whatnot. It's a cool idea, but just the device itself is sexy enough to get me to want it. Putting WiMax capabilities in it was kind of like putting real butter cream icing on a home made 6 tier birthday cake; it was great already, but the icing was just another tasty add on.
