Right, some news... over at XDA a new WWE has been leaked version no. 2.50.405.2

It fixes the Wifi issue and also battery life on 3G plus other bug fixes... Looks like we have another update on the way. Still has Sense 2.1 and is GB 2.3.3

Yup sure does. I haven't rooted yet so haven't tested it but apparently a lot more stable and smoother

Apparently the 2.50 update is rolling out across Europe. It is an 18MB file

You got a link for that? Sense 3.0 doesn't officially run on the DHD according to HTC. Also Android 3.0/3.1 is honeycomb and is designed for tablets, not phones.

We won't get sense 3.0. It is an 2.3.3 version that fixes issues with the 2.37 update a few weeks back.. unless you have ARHD Rom which I think is based on this leaked Rom. Probably last update unless they are going to give us some ice cream.
