I have a HTC Magic with Android 1.5. I don't think its either the T-Mobile or the Vodaphone version as I am in south africa and even though my provider is Vodacom (A Vodaphone company) the phone is not Vodaphone branded. The specs are

    FW Ver 1.5
    Model Number HTC Magic
    Kernel Ver 2.6.27-dd63d1ebu70000@Android-X01
    Build 2.16.421.5

After getting caught in a reboot loop I hard reset the phone. Since then the open market app is missing which is a problem cos I downloaded the App Installer and OI File Manager there. So can anyone help to:

    1) Get the Open Market App back
    2) Install a file manager or any other app WITHOUT the app installer
    3) Get to browse the SD card cos I have all my Apps there and if I can browse the card I can install my apk's by simply touching on the apk I want to install. (this is how I was doing it before the reset)

Also having a problem synchronising my Exchange calendar. There seems to be an option to synchronise exchange calendars cos it appears in "settings>data synchronisation>exchange activsync" but the calendar simply refuses to sync. Mail and Contacts works like da bomb but not calendars.

    Appreciate any assistance
