The first thing I would do is fix the awesome looking weather/clock widget seen in every one of their ads which I wish would work consistently on my Eris but which doesn't.

I would make Sense widgets available to all home replacements, also @AdrianC14 I agree with you signature 99% (I have a MacBook)

How about just stopping it from force closing at least twice a day....

(though it might be an apps fault.....but still!)

Agreed, not a huge fan of the dialer either. I also don't really care for the lock screen too much.

He probably saves the 100% agreements for anything his wife says.

One other thing that I would change would be the HTC music player. From my experience so far it has been nothing but laggy.

    +1

    Faster, more responsive, on/off functionality.

I love Sense, it is one of the main things that made me want the Eris in the first place. That said, there are a few things I would change/add to that I think would improve it.

    - The ability to uninstall ANYTHING that is on the phone.
    - I would like to see HTC open up their apps/widgets so that you can link an another app to a widget. Example: Using the clock/weather widget with a different weather source or using the peep widget with another twitter app.
    - Being able to use a home replacement app as one of the scenes. So you could be using dxtop with one theme as a scene and using original Sense as another.
    - Make the number of home screens user selectable. 1 or 2 for some and 20 for others if they want it.
    - Ability to change the color of ANYTHING on the screen. Want the notification bar to be green and the buttons at the bottom to be orange, done.
    - Ability to change the bottom bar buttons to open any program you chose.
    - Custom LED color options
    - Custom trackball color options
    - Voice dial via bluetooth
