Hey guys, new to the forum here. I cannot seem to get my HTC One S to connect to my PC via the HTC Sync Manager. I can't seem to find a sync button anywhere at all actually, lol.

My device is running Sense, version 4.1(default) & my PC is running Windows 8, with HTC SM 1.1.65

...Any ideas why I can see it in the explorer, but not the manager?

    Any & all guidance appreciated.

Until Htc brings out updated drivers for windows 8, i think we're all screwed.

In the mean time, the show must go on.

Install FTP on your comptuer and use ES File Explorer.

Try to use your intranet IP address for your PC so it will be quicker.

Maybe use a virtual machine with W7. VMware is pretty smart bc as long as you are in focus, the VMware will see anything u plug on the USB on that machine.

Install this Android SDK and you shouldn't have any more issues, i am running windows 8 no issues. Download ADT bundle for windows and install. Then re install HTC Sync.
