I have this problem with my Hero 2.1 using Sync 3:
The photos on the device are not sync'ed with the HTC Sync program. I can see them on the phone, but HTC Sync tells me there is not a single byte to sync.
What can I do to restore the sync'ing? I can copy the files manually, but I would rather that the sync program, well, sync'ed.
I don't know, but with each day that passes I get more and more disappointed with the heros sync'ing capabilities. I need it to sync properly with Outlook and it is very, very buggy:
-Birthdays are placed randomly in the calender.
-Recurring Events cannot be edited (ie. either you remove the whole series or you do nothing)
-Names are messed up (First and second)
-Events are duplicated if I sync from two different PCs
I really miss my palm, NEVER had any of those problems. That was some rock solid syncing...
