Now suddenly, I can only connect either my laptop or wildfire to wifi, not both at the same time, only started happening a couple of days ago...can anyone help please???

You may need to log onto your router and increase the amount of connections / IP addresses that can exist concurrently

really weird, but logged into router to check addresses and they turned out to be fine, so no changes made. I then exited from router and tried again to connect wildfire while laptop was still connected.....and it worked !!!!Is it just me or do other people get a buzz from the fact that there is no logic what so ever in this fantastic digital age?

    haha. yeah.

I read a story recently about a guy whose company bought 10 identical PC's with identical hardware, except 1 of them would only work with yellow network cables.
