I am a brand new Captivate owner (I have yet to name her). I downloaded RunKeeper from the app store, turned on the GPS and took her out for a run. According to the GPS I ran 21.07 miles in 26.34 minutes.

I ran so fast I even crossed county lines, swam a river, and jumped a highway without even knowing it.

Do you think I can still log this in my Jog Log?

So now.... where is that stupid GPS fix?

This is the first GPS problem post that I actually found amusing. Or, I mistook your post and think samsung should sposor you in the ironman race.

Samsung and AT&T should be spinning this as part of the marketing, "Get the new Captivate, its gives you super-human speed!"

Ha! I'm so glad someone else had this problem. I thought I was going crazy when I went for a run last night. Using Runkeeper as well. I haven't experienced any gps problems before, but I guess I know fall into that category.

Do what you want. I found that giving her a name was the most efficient way to show some love and combat all of the negativity on the forums.
