Help I can't Install the new update for X10a

Hi Guys

According to Sony Ericsson Products Blog here

A new Update for Xperia X10 is available now .. This update generally for bi-

directional languages and Multi touch ...

I have X10a (Canada Relase) its was loaded with 1.6 and i have upgrade it to

2.1 .. but when i check now for updates (Need this update because now i am in

Arabic country)..The update service says that my phone is up 2 date and no

need for update..

But my friend also have X10i (Europe) and when he search for this update he

installed it with out any problem ...

Why i cant' get the new update on my phone

(i tried to repair and factory reset and still same)

Your phone must be branded, you will have to wait until your carrier has released the update

you could debrand and update or flash a global version of the latest firmware.
plenty of ways to do so without waiting if you look around
