I tried everything as well to root my LG Optimus Net and could not get it rooted. I then found Unlock Root on an internet search and it worked perfectly for me rooting my phone. Here is the link to the site: Unlock Root of Android

I cant get unlock root of android to work either. I keep getting, "Not find online device, please enable USB debugging!". Debugging is enabled. Do I need to download any drivers? I am a beginner.

Thanks for the help. I'll try this application. Few days ago I tried to root my Optimus Net by 'Super One Click'. It would have worked, but it didn't. Issue was about 'Microsoft .NET Framework' or something else.

    Thanks again.

Does rooting the phone allows the phone to work with any gsm network?

Rooting really doesn't magically do anything to your phone. Rooted means you can now gain access to all you system files. You are the one that has to make your phone do the things you want it to do.

You can do things to your phone by following the hard work and advice of those that have paved the road before you. And they get nothing but a thanks button clicked on by those that appreciate their work and advice.
If someone's work or advice has helped you. Click on the Thanks button, and try to pay it forward.
There are a lot of really helpful members here. If you have any questions on how to make your phone ROCK just PM me and I'll see if I can hook you up with a thread that will will give you the info, and even help walk you through it if needed.

Thanks for the reply but I rooted it about 3-4 months ago. :p
I forgot to update the thread. I've created a whole guide on it:

Guide: Root and install ClockWorkMod Custom Recovery in LG Optimus Net P690

So, this thread is useless now.
    But thanks, anyway. :)
