I cured my 2.1 OTA woes!!!

    Went online ... did some shopping. Found the best price and pulled the trigger. I ain't mad at anybody anymore!!! :D

    What's this have to do with the Moto DROID??? The DROID will be mounted to this baby ... one way or another. And, fully integrated into the Bluetooth communication system.

    Why would you, of all people, be worried about the 2.1 OTA? You must have unrooted.

    Nope, still very much rooted. But I will unroot just to checkout the "official" 2.1 release. And so will a lot of others just to satisfy their curiosity. Count on it! ;)

    Very Nice. Just remember the ones in my Avitar have Flash. But wait, slow upload speeds and low end high performance(The KZ1000P not the Concourse). You will be fine. Enjoy:)

    Don't crash and die. That's all I have to say to motorcycle riders. I have lost family to these machines, so just be careful and don't max out the speed in empty roads because you never know what type of random stuff is on the floor.

    That's such a positive outlook. Thanks for sharing. I dislike when people make such insensitive and worthless remarks to us motorcyclists. Don't you think we know the dangers in riding? And I hate when people ask,"aren't you scared?" Its like, do you think I'd be on a motorcycle if I were scared or didn't know the risk. Think just a little before you spew nonsense people.

    Insensitive and Worthless? Dude the man lost family as he said and was just saying that. By the way he specifically said what not to do I would believe thats how a family member of his died.

    In no way was he being offensive towards motorcycle riders in the least. Dont take things out of context.

    I agree. It may have been a little blunt but there is no mistaking that they cared and just wanted to share what they felt was good advise (actually it was very good advise)

    As far as being scared? Let me put it this way. I have been riding now for about 42 years, have totaled three bikes at last count and still I get on one. I also ride in two distinct ways, personal and professional. When riding my personal bike I just cruise but I also escort funerals on the weekends and that entails far from mellow riding. I can guarantee you tomorrow morning I will have some fear of the unknown while doing my job. If not I probably would die from doing something fearless and totally stupid. (if you think about it there is some good advise here to)

    Keep trying!! I wouldn't trade my E-Glide for anything, at least for a bit anyway. I do miss my Night Train though, sometimes.

    A good ride will cure all your woes. For me, nothing beats a nice fast ride on some twisties while riding my Sprint Triumph.

    That's highly debatable lol, Ill be swinging a leg over the old FXD later. The one american thing ill own lol. All metric hating aside shiny side up guys. congrats on the purchase.

    Nice dude. I'm interested in the Honda ST1300. I had a stiffie for the FJR, but upon reading reviews, I think the ST1300 would be more on the 'touring' side rather than the 'sport' side, which is just the way I want it - something comfortable for my 15 mile highway commute, and something I could load up and ride across the country on.

    And just what do you say when someone buys a new car? "Don't crash and die."??? I bet not. And yet, people die in car crashes EVERY day. Like Hunter Thompson said, "I'd rather be shot out of a cannon, then squeezed from a tube." ;)

    Having said that, I am highly trained and experienced. I've taken several riding courses, as well as several track days. I wear ALL of my gear, ALL of the time. Us real riders call that "ATGATT". I only have 7 contigeous States left to tour, ... I'll probably finish those off this Summer on my new steed.

    For the record, I don't find your comments as insensitive as some do. And that's OK. I get where you're coming from, and I understand where GtRacerH is coming from. I guess y'all will have to agree to disagree. :)


    My last two tourers were Beemers ('02 LT, '06 GT). They're great bikes, but they have a horrific flaw that they refuse to address properly. Their rear drives fail, and I don't want to get stuck somewhere while touring. In '07, my GT broke down in Nevada. I was fortunate as a dealer was close (87 miles away). But some have not been so lucky. And I ain't gonna be that guy.
