Root I deleted the keyboard app

Thanks for reading this.
I was trying to remove unwanted apps and went too far. I deleted the keyboard. I may have deleted other system apps as well. The phone was continuously rebooting after this. I was able to restore some sanity by doing a factory reset.
I figured, now that since the phone boots up, I can just download a keyboard app and I'll be on my way !!! However, since I don't have a keyboard, I'm not able to setup my play store account. I'm not able to figure out how to use voice typing to input the '@' symbol in an email address.

Is their any other way to restore the complete factory image ? All I need is the keyboard.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you have registered the phone at any time with Google, all you need do is use a PC and login to the Play Store. Once there, find a keyboard app and install it to your phone. Assuming the phone has a data/wifi connection it will automatically install and sanity should return.

That's not what he asked and is not the solution to the problem.

OP, I've moved your query to the root forum, hopefully someone up in here can guide you on proper restoration of your phone.

Do you have an pre-installed file explorer on the rom you're using? (I'm guessing stock 4.4.4 rom that came with the L70, then you do) If so, download either swiftkey or google keyboard off the apkmirror (safe) and put them into your L70 by computer.

ApkMirror is safe, and never steals apps, only has apk's for free ones. Since almost all of /r/android uses apkmirror to announce updates. (reddit.com/r/android)
