Hi all, Im patiently waiting for X10 to be released, but I have a question.

I've just read online that paid apps are currently not available in Singapore. Is it true? Damn! I need the Hide&Seek apps to hide my personal infos. Thanks:D

    Regards
    Lee

Hi Iowa, I'm true blue Singaporean. It's just that I prefer not to type Singlish here. Singapore already has a reputation for bad English. I don't wish to make it worse.

Fear not. I'm not a developer whatsoever. I'm sincerely asking whether paid apps are available in Singapore because I need to hide some personal info when I acquire the X10. If it's not available, I won't be uploading it to the phone.

Paid apps in market are only available to the silly, uncultured Americans. If you root your phone, however, you can install the Market Enabler, which fools the phone into thinking you live in the land of McDonald's and Hollywood.

Are you... under the impression that all non-native speakers are subliterate or something? By the way, that's a capitalized "I" and your "didn't" needs an apostrophe. "English" is capitalized, too.

I did a Google search on it & it seems the users have some problems with it. Hmm, Maybe I will wait for it to be available in Singapore.

Bradda, it's cool man... I don't blame him at all. It's just that SILLYPORE'S English is really fked up.......

oh snap its captain grammar! and to vietnam, your english is the best ive seen from singapore! i game alot, and run into alot of "singapore english" speakers out there, kind of like another language. we work it out though. as for paid apps, im working out a solution to that problem for the rest of the world. and why are apps offered to americans first? easy. we have more money than you.

and not knowing english doesnt make you 'subliterate'. maybe you should know the meaning of a word before you use it buddy, and then go on to pick apart grammar on a net forum, which some of us post from our phones, and isnt worth the effort to use correct '";: and caps.

and the word "culture" is subjective. just becuase we dont bow down to your draconian and ancient ways, doesnt make us uncultured. it makes us different, and more likely better, as we think for ourselves, and dont let "silly" outdated traditions define us. you dont want to go up against me kiddo, ill run circles around you, and leave the preverbial question mark hangin ova yo dome like a halo gmoney! (lol! /sarcasm)

Yea, it has nothing to do with foreign business legalities, negotiating terms to use the closed source market app on foreign carrier's networks. Lawyers and accountants working out all the kinks on taxes and liability. It's just that us cocky Americans have more money, it really was so simple.

I wonder if he's set foot outside his basement lately. You know, what with the thousands upon thousands of unemployed Americans, this being a recession and all. Yep, right, Americans just have more money than anyone else.

I offer my condolences to you for having him as a countryman.

wow the niaveness is killing me here. why do you think things come here first? money. this world is run by money. i could say alot about you kids too. like you have your noses in the air, something up your ass, some misguided superiority complex. the rest of the world has been jealous of america since its inception. its not my fault MY country is better than yours. and people talk so bad about america yet we have millions upon millions immigrate every single year. how many people came to your country last year? time for a reality check. eurasia is called the old word for a reason.

i guess you dont understand the meaning of the word sarcasm. check oxford. it should help you with your ignorance of the word.
