So i just bought a fascinate, used and have a few questions of it. I am slightly new to the Android scene, been lately in the iphone scene but am starting to like android better. Here are my questions.
I want to unlock my phone because currently it is locked to telus. How may i go on doing that, i am currently on 2.1
If i were to be on a custom firmware, how would i know as i am not the first owner?
is there a way to update to the newer 2.2 and if i do will i lose the unlock(if i unlock it) and have to re unlock it like the iphone
how can i root my phone or know if it is rooted already?
