Help I need help with my HTC EVO 4G

Hello, I have the EVO 4G and currently cannot send or recieve text. I get a error class message 3. I called Sprint customer care and was told I am supposed to have Android 2.3 but im only on 2.2... Is their a way I can get my texting fixed and also upgrade to 2.3..

P.S I have done all the updates that I can, Firmware, Software, Update Profile and PRL...

To update to 2.3 try going to Menu>Settings>System Updates>HTC software update>Check now. You may have to click Scheduled check.

After the update see if your text is working. If not try taking it into the Sprint store and let them know what's going on.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.. I tried this earlier yesterday but It said it was up to date.. I tried a few other times, then suddenly I get a option to upgrade.

make sure google voice is not on. u need sprint to remove it!

mane sure u dont have google voice running.
