my friend wants to warranty out his phone cuz its scratched and has dust under the screen.
is there any way to break the phone without physically breaking it?(virus, bricking, or anything like that)

It actually has scratches on the screen? I thought it was glass and very tough to scratch. As far as bricking it, maybe download apps all day. Or sync it to a PC and unplug it when it says not to. Bricking a phone on purpose doesn't sound like a good idea though.

over voltage... use a non standard usb charger. One that says 5 volts output or more. Max voltage is supposed to be 4.5 V. More than that will damage the screen.

    Can anyone say "insurance fraud"?

I don't think this is an appropriate thread or replies which certainly should be PM's... the actions depict criminal behavior and complicity is also a crime. Tisk.... Tisk...

Why is it called "COMMON SENSE" when so FEW possess it???
