I want to move apps to external SD w/o rooting . grrr

Samsung Galaxy admire 2 cricket. Jellybean. I really like this phone but disappointed to find out iI can't move anything to ext sdcard. Except music and pics. I'm too much of a novice to risk rooting my phone. Even though it sounds great if it's done right. Is there ANY way to free up internal space yet? I'm 50% used up and tons of ext sdcard space free..
