icons without titles?General

    On stock Eris ( well, 1.5, 2.1v1,2,3 ), non-root, is there an app or setting somewhere to have the icons on the home screens without their title?

    No, but that would look so clean cut! Especiall for the few that the names are too big and they fade off, ugh looks like crap.

    If you have an app dock, it turns the names off for you, like helix or the other app...

    Here's an app dock (I forget the name but I have the .apk if you want it, its a freebie so its cool), and helix is on the right, which has the built in one.

    That's one of the coolest things yet.. can't be done with stock 1.5?

    You can also use Better Cut. However, I think you have to have some kind of name for title for it, so maybe not what you are wanting.

    Yep ... need a name. You could use a period and you would hardly see it.

    But what about that little black text background in the icon titles? Still there? That's the thing I don't like.
