Just like the subject says. If YOU had the final decision on what applications the androids would have from the factory that they don't come with, what would those applications be? And why? As an example I will say K9 mail for the fantastic speed it has with email push. I look forward to your responses. :D

    K9 Mail (see above)
xScope (Awesome browser and getting better)
Sound Manager (for those who want to quiet not just the ringer)
    Tapatalk (great forum reader)
Spare Parts (One of the best system monitors)
Any Cut (Cool way to make custom shortcuts)
Calendar Pad Pro (improvement on the stock calendar)
gTasks (only program that syncs with Google Tasks)
Handcent (one of the better messaging programs)
Barcode Scanner (Scans program's barcode via internet to load from market)
Smart Keyboard Pro (much easier to use than the stock KB)
Swype (much easier to use than the stock KB)

The only app I thought was missing was a file manager. It took me a few weeks to figure out that I needed one to organize my photos.

Thank you SO much for posting your list. I have been looking for a calendar widget/app to replace stock on my Droid. I am happy now! :)

What application did you go with to resolve this?

Don't be shy Droid Nation, your feedback is appreciated. What really puzzled you why the droid didn't come with something that seems like it would be a necessity on a smart phone?

Astro. It's not the only file manager available, but I think it's one of the best.
