Apps if you have a quality app which one do you choose?

If most of the apps are high quality, it's hard to standout and make money with your quality app (since competition is tough).
Do you think if it's better that many apps are of low quality so that your quality app can shine, or do you prefer the apps to be all high quality? why such a choice?

If you have a quality application, do you prefer to have other apps in the market to be low quality or high, or you just do not care? and why do you think so?

I don't see why this argument matters? It's not like we have a say in the matter, or Google will have any way (let alone want) to disallow other high quality (or low quality depending on argument) apps in their market just because one person already has one out there.

This is a research. The results will have some benefit for the companies involved in this market.

So you think if other apps are low it's better? But how about the quality of the entire market? if most apps are bad, the market will deteriorate and probably consumers won't be interested in the app store in future. any opinion?
