You are absolutely right. What was I thinking? I was thinking...hmmm...I have well over 3,000 friends on my myspace & facebooks(because of the work I do) and I have my real name, personal information as where i went to HS at, My college, and my agency.

I've had that same myspace for the past 5 years and I add anyone who requests me and in 5 years, I have never had someone post anything like you did.

I was thinking, when I used Carmencrishnaya(Which is my first and middle name)
1) Let's make a name that is easy for me to remember...I don't have time for 50 million different names, passwords for diff sites...Carmencrishnaya it is
2) I have referred a lot of people to android phones because I love Android and the people I have referred may want to find me. It's easier for them to find carmencrishnaya then find some random name i made up.

What irks me about these forums is not that this happened to me. I really don't care.

I just find it amusing that me being 17 years old(and the few other teens i know here) are actually more mature than a greater population of adults 30+ forums.

1) I see people arguring over who's phone is better
2) Arguring over why tasks killers are needed or not(I respect OTD's classy approach)
3)Telling ppl they are dumb, lazy, stupid or whatever to search for their answer instead of posting yet another forum.

Even some of the comments here in this thread are a bit childish....

Wally or whatever his name is posted about how his phone caught the eyes of some girls at a club...cute...but i didn't really care so i didn't post...

I posted a hello message to let ppl know that i am back and that I am wanting to catch up on news i missed and i get sarcasm comments...if you didn't care, why bothering posting...

I do respect OTD because she had said something to me about this a few weeks back...

But i do find it catty and childish, you actually searched for every networking site I have to actually find them(albeit not the right ones) and them post them in a forum.

I actually liked the eris forum because from the other phones it actually seemed to be a better energy than pervy droid forums and stuck-up sprint forums but to be honest...if i was a weak-minded person this and the other unnecessary actions and comments in other threads would really deter me from asking questions or even purchasing a phone b/c ppl feel the need to be ignorant, rude or childish instead of being MATURE....

I guess when i get into my 30's, i'll have the need to want to be a high school kid again because alot of ppl in these forums remind me of high school(and i graduated last year)

Can we put an end to this? Carmen, it is great you are back but your comments about other folks would not have happened if you hadn't opened up the thread. The bottom line is, this isn't twitter so a thread entitled "I'm back" wasn't really necessary. "I'm at lunch", "I'm in the bathroom", "I'm at a bar". Not being a jerk but alot of folks really don't care. Now your posts feeding this thread are as bad as some of the people who commented on this thread to begin with. We would have known you were back when we saw your posts. Now everyone is catty and childish, etc. You have the option of removing yourself from the forum if you don't want peoples comments, comments that were made because of your announcement and your follow up. Glad your back, move on.

Referring people to a forum doesn't mean you walk into it asking "where's 2.1?" like you own the goddamn place when there's a thread dedicated just to it. If you were mature, or simply had a brain, you would have PM'd your favorite member and asked them where to get it.

If you idolized and respect OTD so much and had half the brains, you wouldn't have used your real name if you cared about people finding you in searches. Or was that not in her "Android Forum FAQ"?

and i wasn't saying everyone is catty or childish...I said I've seen catty and childish behavior from some adults so my statement was warranted because there have bene people that have posted in this very forum that i've seen attack "noobs" for reposting something that has been posted before

You might want to do your research. Penn State at University Park is a public ivy. Why would I lie about something that could simply be googled within two seconds much like you did with my facebook/formspring.me

I graduated at 16 because while most of my friends were doing summer vacations, i was in summer school so i was a great ahead of everybody else because I wanted to graduate early and move on to college.

You make comments about me assuming things and your past two posts actually assumed plenty about me that is not true.
