It's not a work of art, but it does show the shallow depth of field possible with close-up work
I agree. I honestly thought I was in the EVO 3D forum--BTW, was pretty happy with that camera too, especially with some of the hacks, so maybe it doesn't take a whole lot to please me! I've been perusing the forums because yes, only one year later, I am considering getting this device and letting hubby have my EVO 3D. Great pics, everyone!
A vid and some stills from the World Super Bike Championships yesterday at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah.
WATCH IN 1080P FOR FULL EFFECT:
You.be links don't work, I edited yours to the normal youtube . com/watch?v=xxxxx format.
The vid's set to private though, you need to open that up to share it.
I didn't change a thing on the camera, my settings are all "Auto".
Pre-ordered the first OG EVO when it came out.. contract went up in April, couldn't decide between the EVO LTE or the Galaxy Nexus, but the specs of the EVO LTE were awesome.. so I went with her!
I am ironically, a photographer.. you can follow me at ahwagnerphoto.com (Flickr, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram links are all in that link) ...but I never really fiddled with the settings on the EVO yet.
That was all on auto?!?!?!?
Wow. Seriously - wow!
Many thanks for the great snaps btw.
Took my ltevo along on a hike today. Experimented with the panoramic and the close up settings. Not too bad.
Here's the panoramic
Thats awesome. Took a few of my niece today. Loved playing with the effects . Love the Depth of Field one where it really focuses on the subject and kinda blurs the rest.
WOW! some of these pictures are amazing.
Hers a shot I got tonight just before we got a storm:
But I should have tried the panoramic view!
Oh, man. I was out in that area yesterday also, marctronixx! Went to Getty Malibu and was gonna eat at Dukes for dinner with some family.
Where's the setting for panoramic? I've been in the settings several times but I didn't see that setting
When you open the camera app, look for the "A" (for Automatic) in the bottom left corner and press it. From there, you will see several options including the panorama setting.
My motorcycle on Memorial Day.
I little plant growing out of my Fathers driveway.
I little closer to the little plant.
Nice, thanks! I saw that A there but for some reason I never touched it to discover there was another menu behind it
The pic with the plant, did you zoom up(software wise) or use macro mode!? Nice nonetheless!
Thanks, I actually didn't change anything, I just pointed and clicked. That's what impressed me the most, I didnt actually adjust any of the settings and it still took a pretty great picture especially for a phone.
(through a broken screen also)
ok, I'm sold on this phone.
Here are some shots I took today at the Marlins game.
You and me both! I'm simply amazed with these pics.
So how is the front facing camera?
All of mine seem to end up out of focus;
Or have a reflection;
Does the card have anything to do with it? I am using an old class 2 card.
