Incredible keeps booting into ClockworkMod Recovery

I installed ROM Manager and tried a couple ROMs. At some point (hard to remember exactly when) the installation of a ROM failed and now my phone keeps rebooting into ClockworkMod Recovery (v.2.5.0.5). I went to backup and restore and tried to restore the backup I made. It runs for a few minutes and then says it's done and takes me back to CM Recovery. When I select reboot system now it boots back into CM Recovery.

Any help would be appreciated. All I really need to do is get some version of Android (I don't care if its 2.1) back on the phone. I can then apply the RUU and restore my apps from Titanium Backup if needed. I am not worried about losing everything - I have everything I need backed up.

Can anyone help, How can I get Android back on my phone? I tried the steps here (http://androidforums.com/incredible...ideo-howto-unroot-incredible-downgrading.html) and that didn't work.

    Thanks in advance,

    Derek

i would say download a new rom through you pc and put it on the SD card and try and flash from recovery... it sounds like the rom you tried to flash might of been corrupted and also your back up must of been corrupted also. Also this should be in root section not general :p
