Root Install CyanogenMod 7.1 on Samsung Galaxy S2 Sprint D710

Hi All,

Is it possible to install CyanogenMod 7.1 on Samsung Galaxy S2 Sprint D710 (android 2.3.6) , please send me some tips for doing that

If we can track down 7.1, sure it's possible.

There is CM10 (latest) if you would be interested in that.

Can i install CM10 on Samsung Galaxy S2 Sprint D710 (android 2.3.6) or I have to upgrade the android version before starting the installation of CM10.?

As long as you flash from a safe recovery, EL26 recommended, you should be able to without problem.

Well Firstly, you are rooted yet?

Have you downloaded cm10 along with the gapps? (google apps packages)

You'll also need "mobile odin" from the play store to boot into the EL26 recovery.

I dont think that it is rooted , any android tips and tricks(for beginners) are mostly welcomed , am also googling all the android stuffs

Is your E4GT on the latest ICS build? 4.0.4 modem FI27

If so, you can follow this method:

Follow that link, download the 1 click utility, that also WON'T delete your data as well.

Using this method, you won't lose any data on your phone.
