Before I ask I did search and found a bunch of different techniques for installing non-market apps. I haven't tried any, but wanted to find the easiest/newest method.

I have files on my computer and I was going to use dropbox to transfer them to my phone. When I open the files in drop box it gives me the "for security, your phone is set to block..."

What is the easiest method to fix this? I am planning to root, but I just got the phone today so I want to get a handle on it first.

Those are probably for ATT phones (Backflip [or is it crapflip] and Aria). They block non-market apps.
