    New to Android.

I go to Market click something to download tells me forever that its downloading. When I finally hit cancel tell me to install.

Do it nothing shows up in my programs - nothing.
    Been trying this for days.

Also hit by mistake things I don't want like "Swedish Dictionary".
Tried to cancel but it is still in my useless Download list.
How can I remove ithems from this list??

    Thanks for the help.

Go back into the market find the app you want to delete and hit uninstall. Or download uninstall or system panel which is a great app with an uninstall built in

Did as you suggested but I do not get the "uninstall" option, only install.

I would get an uninstall app but I don't seem to able to install anything.

Have you tried downloading an app on your pc/lappy, dragging/dropping to the sd card then installing from there? Astro is a great file manager by the way.

Will try later. At a conference and not much free time.
Also Gmail does not want to come up on either laptop or Desire.

    Thanks for the tip.
