internal memory is killing me - I seem to have to uninstall an app every week

I have k9 email setup and that's using 2mb on the app itself and 6mb on data - I can't see anywhere in the app itself to limit the space it uses. Do I need to uninstall and re-install ....

Contacts storage is at 8mb ... but I kinda need that :(

cardiotrainer the app is 6mb and data at 2mb - can't find a way to clear down the data either

I have cleared the browser cache

seriously the list of apps i've had to sacrifice is out of control
imdb, almost hands free app, spare parts app, Rebtel for Android, first aid app, mccanto music streaming, SBSH PhoneWeaver, aCircuit Board live wallpaper, B-folders, wikimind lite, go notes, listen for podcasts,
double twist app, XMarksDown, yelp, shop savy, google skymap, bookmarklet, beelicious, qik, audible, apps backup pro

    it's a complete bummer :((

Thats a LOT of apps. What I used to do was back them up to SD card using Astro file manager. Then I uninstalled what I wasn't using. I could just reinstall using Astro if I needed something. Its a fresh install each time, but if the data for the app is on the SD card, it should recognise it. Its a step better than downloading from teh market every time.

I had the same problem, and it really irritated me; which is why I decided to root my phone and get Aps2SD. I'm really glad I did.

With Dolphin HD, you can save the cache to the SD Card :)

Froyo will sort it out, you'll be able to install apps onto the sd card
