Tbh am not gonna bother with this. Have tried 3 kernels now with all manner of undervolting, tweaking etc etc, and none of it makes much if any difference to either performance or battery, in fact even got my first random shut down the other day.

So I have earlier today used some dodgy scripts posted by an errant Welshman on xda, given my phone a damned good wiping, and gone back to stock.

Stock kernel is just mighty fine and the phones are so hot they don't need tweaking. Just like Mrs Syd in fact...

I agree with you butty. I've been on stock since day one and I really doubt if it gets much better than that.

There will only be one kernel dev that could sway me, but I don't see that happening on the S4.
