Where to begin, I rooted my S4 i9505 a while back now and have just decided to put on a custom ROM. I put the Echoe ROM onto my SD card and put it into recovery, the only problem is I only seem to have Android recovery so no option to "install from zip" .

I dont know if I have rooted wrongly. I have tryed to re-root but odin keeps coming up "FAIL". any ideas?

    Kernal Version
    3.4.0-1081224

    Baseband Version I1905XXUBGA

Try flashing philz recovery in odin to see if you can boot into recovery. If so you can then flash your zip.

Try odin 1.85 with the original usb cable.

If it's still the same then make sure you're starting odin correctly

But to get into download mode, power off, hold power button until it vibrates. As soon as it vibrates press the vol down button until you see the screen on
