Did you take a backup of the stock ROM before you flashed things?

Also, can you remember if your original software was branded before you started flashing any ROMs etc? What about the software number?

    Unfortunately I do not know.
But on the phone there is a file named rom.zip is there a chance I can know if this was the original rom?

    Thanx again

It might well be the original ROM. If you open it are there system and recovery.img files or a directory structure that looks like this:

Do you have the SDK installed on your PC (or at least the fastboot files you used when you unlocked the bootloader)?

I tried to install and noticed its not the original firmware!
I got this phone from a family member who said his son changed the OS and he didnt make any backups!

How can I now proceed I would really like to restore it back to stock rom please advise

Your best bet would be an RUU (it's an exe file you run from your PC that wipes the phone clean and installs the OS from scratch) but you'd need some additional info before we can start looking for the file you'll need.

Download and install the mini SDK from here: http://androidforums.com/faqs/443072-adb-guide-updated-2013-05-21-a.html#post5389081

Once installed, open a command prompt, navigate to the install folder, power your phone off, then turn it back on holding power and the down volume key until you're taken to a screen with skateboarding androids along the bottom. From there, use the volume and power keys to select fastboot. Connect the phone to your PC, and in the command prompt, type

    Code (Text):
    1. fastboot getvar all
Then copy and paste the results here please. :)

^Does that all make sense btw? Do you need a more step by step guide?

INFOversion-main: 3.14.921.20 is exactly what I was looking for, thanks. :)

Let me see if I can find an RUU for you.

(I also removed your IMEI and serial number for security).

    Sounds nice...

I'm not having much luck I'm afraid. :(

Without the backup and RUU, returning to stock is most likely impossible.

    Wow:mad:
Whats my best option now can I run another Android version on this phone?
    What would you recommend?

    Thanx for your efforts!

I thought I'd responded earlier

Yeah, if you're running MIUI, your bootloader should already be unlocked and ready to install a custom ROM. Are you looking for something MIUI like or closer to stock?
