Hi,

My name is Yvette and I'm trying to learn more about the capabilities of my phone. Right now I'm trying to learn whether I can use it as a modem for my laptop. I don't see it listed as a supported device for the Verizon Access Manager software although I see several other Droids listed.

I'm looking forward to what I can learn and hopefully share with others as well.

From searching the Droid Eris forums it looks like you can set up the Eris to tether but it'll require that the phone be rooted and you install a third party app like PDAnet or EasyTether.
