Help invisible texting??

I have a HTC wildfire and it's my first android phone which i'm still getting used to.

Today my texting started misbehaving.

When i reply to a text the screen keyboard displays as normal as does the text typing window but when I type the cursor doesn't move and no letters appear. When i press the back arrow it saves the text into drafts without any other option.

When i go into drafts the text is there in full typed text, i then have to send it from there.

This only started happening today.

What is the problem here and how do i fix it?

I have just discovered that this is only happening when i turn the phone into the landscape position. It works as normal in the portrait position??

Maybe go to manage applications, find Touch Input or keyboard, clear data (it will clear all your saved words) and reboot, see if that fixes it
