well i first got 2.2.1 with the .zip method and i had several apps missing even after clearing the market cache followed by clearing the data.

so next i applied the sbf. still the same issue. i cant find the droid overclock app by jrummy as well as others.

i thought well i will use tb to restore them, but every time i try to restore apps with it my phone reboots! even after going back into recovery and wiping data and cache!

am i alone here or has anyone else had this problem and figured it out?

    thanks digdug1

its probably a provisioning issue. i am on apex after the update and have no issues.

I had trouble with other ROMs but no problems since switching to Apex.

That's because the build number of the leak is newer than the official, and many apps (mostly protected ones) will not show up.

The reason it works in ApeX is because I modified the build.prop to identify the ROM as 2.3.15 to the market.
