I have my GPS off but the weather widget is giving me close enough weather via the network. I'd like to keep track of the weather in another location.

When I click on the "+" sign in the weather widget and then type in the location the city is not found. I've tried typing it in exactly how it appears when I'm there w/o luck. Is there another way to save/ find this city and keep track f the weather in the widget?

    Thanks

A lot of people have reported it having trouble finding some cities. Perhaps try a nearby city...

mine just shows "New York". I wish I could get more specific.

But when I tap the weather widget and swipe up, it changes to my town.

Going back home just reverts back to NY

I have GPS on and the option to 'update automatically' is greyed out, why is this?

Maybe they will add a Zip code option in a future update.

  6. You have it set to show the weather in your current location, which could slightly vary depending on where it is getting your location information at that moment. If you want to default to your hometown, do this:

Remove the widget, then add it again (it is the 3rd option under the "clock" widget). When it says "Select a city", select your hometown instead of "current location". The widget will show the weather in your hometown and tapping the widget + swipe up will show your current location.

So is there a place where suggestions like this one might be taken into consideration?

On the "desktop" hit Menu > Settings > Accts and Sync > Auto Sync.

Then go into the widget then Menu > Setting > Update Automatically

Thank you. I think this new updated from Sprint disabled Auto Sync because I did have it set to Auto Sync before the update.
