    Hi All,

I am currently trying out a DHD as a replacement to my iPhone 3GS and the one thing so far which is getting annoying is the fact that Vodaphone have put some trial apps on the phone. Like Who wants to be a millionaire game trial.

I tried it, it suks, I want to get it off my phone. It will not let me uninstall it and no uninstall app will even detect its there. There are several trial games on it which are rubbish and getting in the way.

Is rooting the only way to get rid of them?

    Cheers,
    Russ

Yeah I think rooting is the only way to remove bloatware like that. I can't remember if you need su permissions to pull /system/app files off a phone through adb (android sdk) or not.

You do SU, however rooting the DHD so far has proven to be easy, safe and reverasble.
