Just got my Droid X. Is there an alternated camera app that has an on screen shutter trigger? I don't like using the dedicated camera button because my case is sort of thick and the button is so small, its hard to get it to snap the shot, I'd rather tap the screen like other android phones.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

This is addressed in the 2.2 update.

As far as 3rd party apps, I don't know, but many of them don't take full advantage of all 8MP the camera has to offer.

When we get the official update in September 2.2 an on screen button comes with it.

Yeah, it will be added in the upgrade to 2.2.

Vignette in the app market. blows away other camera apps by far. one touch auto focus and picture taking sold me. I don't have to use that horrible camera button anymore.
