Is there a way to listen to itunes podcasts on my droid? I have seen people talk about google listen, but I can't see that letting you get podcasts from itunes? Any help is appreciated.

This is the biggest thing I miss about my iPhone, that and renting movies. I have looked everywhere and tried a couple of the podcast apps like google listen but nothing works like I want it to.

I was hoping they could be exported as a certain media type then I could just put them on the SD card.

In a related topic, how do you listen to the Podcast of Jim Rome? I have tried Stitcher and PodKast with no luck.

I tried podkasts, dpod, beyond pod, listen. Some did an ok job a few just blew and you had manually enter the feed address in more then a few. Dpod and beyond were the best but beyond pod couldnt play my CNET video podcasts and Dpod couldn't download CNET podcasts. Finally bit the bullet and paid for dogcatcher and its the best thing to itunes. I don't have to manually enter feeds anymore and it downloads all my video podcasts. And plays them just fine. it really is a set it and forget it podcast player.

you just have to import the playlists, and then mount, and then click on videos (the tab at the top), then check only the selected: podcasts, then sync. :D

Can't believe it hasn't been suggested yet, I also tried a few different apps and found that Doggcatcher is amazing.

Subscribe through Doggcatcher, set up your preferences and enjoy.

Edit: I see dragonhead suggested the same. He's right, if you like podcasts Doggcatcher is worth the money.

Doggcatcher is also my favorite podcast player. BTW, my favorite podcast program is Handel on the Law.

The old way of dealing with podcasts don't seem to work well with Android. The modern way of using a dedicated app works best. The effort you made setting up your itunes podcast stuff will need to be redone with an app like doggcatcher.
