Is there anyway to lock the speakerphone so it stays on?

I don't get it? You want your speakerphone on all the time? Do you mean you want it to default to that when you answer the phone?

I'd be interested in hearing an answer to this as well. I don't use speakerphone terribly much, but there are days when you're calling customer service line after customer service line and wish it would stay in speaker mode until you turned it off. Not a huge deal, but it would be convenient.

Search for "Car Mode" in the Market. You launch this app and it will answer all calls with speaker. I had it on the Hero and it worked great. Have not tried it on the DROID. It also puts an icon in the notif bar to turn it off.

Car mode does work on the droid. I turn it on every time I drive and use car home. It does exactly what your looking for.

WTH? How are people getting this to work? When I answer the phone in car mode, it defaults to normal earpiece, it doesn't default to speakerphone, even if I used it on a previous call while in the car dock.

What am I missing?
