Is there such a thing as a good ad blocker for apps?

Forgive me if this has already been asked and answered. But when I find a great app, I support the developer and no more ads. But I've found some that don't give me the option to kill the ads. Thanks.

There's 'AdFree', but it does require root access.

Okay, I've seen that one but I'm not rooted. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Worth rooting if only for the ad removal. I kinda forgot most apps have ads in them. :p
