Help Is this a genuine I9305? Will this update brick my phone?

Hi everyone, I purchased this new I905, supposedly genuine a while ago. It works find and I decided to update the OS.

That's when the trouble started. I tried OTA update, failed. Kies - failed to recognise device.

In scouring the Net the only update I found was this TGY-I9305ZHBMI4-20131023161041.

It does not have the same build number or date. But it was the only Hong Kong update I could find.

I have three questions:


Is this a genuine Samsung I9305


Even if it is not genuine can I update it and do I have the correct update


I am no techie, so what is the simplest and safest way to update

Download the rom and use Odin to flash it... Simples

Download which Rom? As I said this is the only Hong Kong Rom I found TGY-I9305ZHBMI4-20131023161041. It seems to have a different PDA and build number Does this matter?
I want to be sure the update will be OK.
