Is there any kind of parental controls in the standard browser or is Verizon blocking porn sites? There is a story site I like to read once in awhile and now when I try to go there it is telling the it being blocked. So I tried a couple porn sites to test if I was able to get to any of them and sure enough every single one was being blocked

On the myverizon.com site there is a parental controls section under the 'My Services' heading. Looks like it can be set differently for each phone number on a plan. You might check there.
I don't see an equivalent setting for the browser itself.

    A "story" site, huh? ;)

No, Verizon doesn't block porn sites though.

Why is this in the root section btw? :p

I'm not sure, but I do know that if you download the application, "My Market," it will allow you to create custom filters, so you will be able to block any inappropriate content in the app store.
