I am currently facing an issue with my Samsung Galaxy Y. I am not able to connect the phone to Laptop or PC. I have installed the KIES software on my computer. I suspected if the USB cable or the port has issues.. but the phone is getting charged with out any problem. Is there anyone facing the same issue? I had consulted the service center and they informed me that KIES does not support Windows 7 or Vista and a patch needs to be added to the KIES. Is anyone aware of this?? Please help ..

Connect usb cable then on phone pull down notification then select usb storage, then wait and drive will appear on pc. For kies you just have to connect usb cable then start kies it fill find it, and I have it working fine on win 7 64 so thats a lie.
