Issue with application 'WidgetLocker' on Galaxy S II

I've just installed WidgetLocker, and when I wake my phone, it takes me directly to the phone's default lockscreen, rather than the one I have set up using the application. After I unlock the default lockscreen, the WidgetLocker lockscreen comes up. I'd really rather not have to root the phone, so some help would be great.

In the widgetlocker settings, activate "disable stock lockscreen".
