Help Issue with Galaxy 2S Skyrocket text messages

Okay, first time poster here. I have a Samsung Galaxy 2S Skyrocket on AT&T. Great phone, but I have been experiencing an issue with my text messaging. I can send texts and MMS just fine, but if I receive one, I get a message box that shows the size of the message, and a button to "download." Usually when I hit download, it never actually downloads anything. Is there something in the settings menu that I need to change to automatically download pics or attachments?
