Issues Saving Images From the Web (Long Press)

Hello,

I'm having an issue with my galaxy s3 using the Firefox browser. When I find images on the Web to save, I long press them and select "save image." At this point two different things happen.

Either the image saves to my phone, but when I attempt to attach it in a SMS a notification comes up telling me it is the wrong file type. Cropping the image will get around this issue but I was wondering if there was a way to make sure images save as the right file type.

Also, sometimes the image will save as a htm file and won't be accessible at all.

Any solution to this?

Are you having problems only with Firefox? have you tried other browsers? I have can't replicate your issue when using stock Samsung, Chrome or Boat browsers.

Ill try another browser but I was hoping to be able to find a solution because like using Firefox.
